So that you can
easily
give a different address every time you sign up for something,
and delete that address if it is used for spam.
I have my own domain and can make up my own addresses.
But then you need a catch-all account - it'll receive a lot of spam.
Or you add a new address every time you give it to someone - that's a lot of effort.
With us there's no catch-all, and each address is easily identified according to it's use.
How can create an address with a single mouse click?
You can use our
cool utility
which will create a new address and enter it straight into the web form.
The cool utility doesn't work.
You need to be logged on.
If you're not logged on, a new window will open which you can log onto and then close.
Remember to check 'Remember login'.
What are the different forward types?
Forward all: all mail to your address will be forward as is.
Forward all with mod: all mail to your address will be forward,
but the subject will be modified for mail from unacceptable senders.
Forward acceptable: only mail from acceptable senders will be forward.
What does the 'clipboard' button do?
It copies the address to the clipboard.
You can then use ctrl-v to paste it where you want.
The 'clipboard' button doesn't work.
You need to be using Internet Explorer, with JavaScript enabled,
and your security options set to 'Allow paste operations via script'.
What is the format of an acceptable sender?
It can be anything you like.
Whatever you enter will be checked against the end of the sender's email address.
For example, if you enter 'abc@xyz.com' then mail from abc@xyz.com will be accepted,
and so will mail from 123abc@xyz.com.
If you enter '@xyz.com' then mail from any address @xyz.com will be accepted.
